Live Trench Rescue Fishers Indiana“Trench 9-8-06” shows how we use the Ellis jacks with the jack end secured to a 2x12 that is bolted to a fin form, and the timber end “boxed in” using 2x4x12” cleats or “scabs”. This was an actual rescue we performed last year with a successful outcome. You can see the victim’s arms at the bottom of the picture with his hands holding our trench panel. He is wearing a blue helmet.
